“THROUGH MY EYES”
‘Through my Eyes’ is a tribute to the unique facets of movement, facial expressions and gestures. Perfection is nothing other than perfection. The piece explores the fascination with the individuality of movements, facial expressions and gestures, with the treacherous, playful, unconscious, transparent, and the interest in the child that lies dormant in every human being and that can still express itself eloquently and precisely if its language is understood. In this contemporary dance theatre piece with seven scenes, the dancers reflect on these aspects through the eyes of the choreographer.
World premiere: Hessisches Staatstheater, 17 Sept. 2016
Music: Vincenzo Bellini, Werner Scharfenberger, Jan-Paul Werge

“LOVE ME IF YOU CAN!”
‘Love me if you can!’ is a collage of eleven scenes, a dynamic dance roundelay set to soul music from the sixties and basically revolves around the eternal themes of loneliness, longing and the search for love. It is based on the work ‘Gina goes out…’, which Gaetano Posterino choreographed for the Hessian State Ballet in 2006 and which was a great success at the time. In the storyline, a woman experiences love, rejection, hatred and passion. And finally finds her own identity and her own path. A kaleidoscope that puts you in a good mood – and yet leaves you silent at the end.
World remiere: Theater HochX Munich, 16 March 2017
Music: James Brown, The Temptations, Nina Simone, Brooker T & The MGs, Ray Charles, Sam & Dave, Glady’s Night & The Pips, The Platters
